PIERRE VACHON ON MTV TOMORROW NIGHT!
New World Wrestling has been informed that Pierre "The Beast" Vachon will be appearing on MTV, tomorrow at 8PM! The show is called "Shot at Love 2 with Tila Tequila." When asked about what he will be doing on the show, all The Beast would tell us is that we have to tune in to see. It sounds like a great opportunity to be featured on national television. Many NWW fans know what appearing on MTV can do for wrestlers, because they experienced the effect it had on NWW wrestlers The Alden Brothers, who appeared on MTV's "True Life." From The Beast: "Now I can't tell you what I was doing, but I can tell you this: YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS IT!" |

RESULTS FROM PLYMOUTH! New World Wrestling would like to thank the 300 plus fans who came out for the first stop of our Spring Slam Tour at the Plymouth Community Intermediate School in Plymouth, MA. We raised some money for the school, and everyone left with a big smile on their face having witnessed a great night of professional wrestling action. Below are the results, courtesy of ShawnO.
New World Wrestling "Spring Slam Tour"
Saturday night 3/29/08 Plymouth Community Intermediate School Plymouth, Massachusetts Ring Announcer: J.C. Marx Referees: Michael Tootsie, Esq., Tony S., and Tom James Head of Security: Big Dave "Dillinger" 1. Doug Summers over David Loomis. Originally, David pinned Doug with the Ol' Feet on the Ropes. Commissioner Steve Burgundy came out and ordered the match to be restarted. Doug hit David with his finish move and scored the pin. 2. Big Business destroyed Loverboy Ricky Williams. Before the match, Big Business said he just got off a 16-hour plane ride from China and was exhausted and didn't want to wrestle. He offered Ricky a sack of money if he were to forfeit the match. Ricky said no, and was squahsed by the 7-foot Big Business. After the match, Big Business hit Ricky with a chain...then he called out Heavyweight Champ Don Vega. Don ran out to save Ricky, then chased Big Business out of the ring. Don said he wanted a match with Big Business, and said he would put the belt on the line. Commissioner Steve Burgundy approved the match for later in the show. 3. Pierre "The Beast" Vachon over The Outpatient after using brass knuckles. The Outpatient had the upper hand for most of the match, but Pierre was able to use the crowd to distract the referee...and Pierre hit Outpatient with brass knuckles to get the pin. 4. Tag Team Champs Moondog Maximus & Ka Hoku (with Dr. Gabriel Grange and nurse Meloney Melonze) over Shane & Eric Alden to retain the championship. The match was intense with several near-pinfalls. Moondog and partner Bulldog Kahuko had several miscues that potentially could have cost them their championship. There seems to be dissention in Grange's stable. The Doctor of Derange was seen yelling at Moondog Maximus for the mistakes made in the title bout. The Tag Team Championship will be defended over the next few weeks and if Grange cannot control his team, we could see the end of Grange's Kennel Club's iron grip on the tag team gold! Next was a PCIS "Grudge Match" between vice principal "Ranger Rebel" Mr. Collins and "Head Master of Apollo" Mr. Chicolini. Both were introduced by the school's principal. The "referee" for this "match" was science teacher "The Grand Wizard of Science" Mr. Phillips. Mr. Phillips wore a wizard's cone hat with a lab coat and pins and buttons pinned all over it. The Rebel guy wore a green curly hair wig with a Hawaiian shirt. The Apollo guy was dressed like a biker guy. This seemed to a quiz show sort of thing with the kids in the crowd being involved in answering the science questions.
5. Big Paulie Gilmore over Brickhouse Baker. "Head Master of
Apollo" Mr. Chicolini was the guest referee. Brickhouse spent alot of
time complaining about the slow counts.
6. Shockwave over La Parka Dos (with Dr. Gabriel Grange). Pre-match dance off between Shockwave and La Parka Dos. The crowd clearly liked Shockwave's dancing better, so La Parka Dos attacked him. Shockwave was able to get the upper hand and score the pin. Post-match dance with Shockwave and a happy fan from the front row. 7. Heavyweight Champ "The Punisher" Don Vega over Big Business to retain the championship. 8. Doink the Clown over "White Lion" Jim Tanner. Jim was announced as "The Pride of Vermont." After Jim was announced, the science teacher and the Rebel Ranger guy come into the ring. Jim was annoyed that they crashed the party and tried to give them a Double Noggin Knocker. Doink ran out and saved the day...and sprayed silly string in Jim's face...then sprayed the string all over the front row. Doink seemed to have the upper hand for most of the match. Jim wound up giving the science teacher and the Rebel guy hell for being at ringside...while he was distracted by the teacher, Doink rolled Jim up for the pin. After the match, Doink danced around the ring with the science teacher, the Rebel guy, and Tony the Ref. Thanks again to ShawnO for that great report. Just a reminder New World Wrestling's Spring Slam Tour continues TONIGHT with Showdown In Sandwich III at Sandwich High School. Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake will be strutting and cutting in Sandwich this Saturday NIght. Also the annual Supercrush Battle Royal and so much more. There are details on the event elsewhere here on our website. Remember the event benefits The Sandwich High School Blue Knights Wrestling Team. So not only will you get a great night of professional wrestling, but be supporting a great cause. We hope to see you all there. |

Another success in Attleboro! The Fans of New World Wrestling were treated to a night of action and excitement Saturday night, as we once again returned to the Moose Lodge in Attleboro! It was another standing room only crowd, filled with the faithful Moose Lodge fans. There were two successful title defenses: Don Vega defeated the evil Terry Allen to retain the Heavyweight Title, and Dr. Grange's Kennel Club successfully defended the Tag Team Championship. The event saw the debut of many new faces, which our commissioner signed to impress the crowd. There seems to be an incredible influx of talent moving into New World Wrestling, all vying for a permanent position on the New World Roster. Please check back soon as we are updating the roster page and will make an announcement about our March 29th show!

Johnny Fabulous back on WWE TV!
Once
again Apex Corp. leader Johnny Fabulous appeared on TV for the WWE. Sunday
night at the WWE pay-per-view event Unforgiven, Johnny was at ringside to
watch his son John Cena's rematch with Randy Orton. After Cena went nuts on
Orton, which resulted in the champ getting disqualified, Orton then beat
down John Cena and once again dragged J-Fab over the barrier. However Cena
would save his dad, putting Orton in the STFU. Johnny Fabulous would then
get his revenge on Orton by kicking Orton in the head, much like Orton had
done to him a few weeks ago. Fabulous was then shown backstage being yelled
at by Jonathan Coachman.
The next night on Raw, Coachman announced that the fans would see Cena vs. Orton on the show. However, it was not he WWE champion he was referring to. By "Cena vs. Orton" he meant John Cena Sr. (Johnny Fabulous), not the champ John Cena Jr. that would be facing Orton! Coachman had threatened to strip Cena of the title, so Fabulous agreed to wrestle Orton to prevent that from happening. Cena attempted to stop the match, and the Coach agreed to cancel the match, provided Cena could win a match against Santino Marella later on. If Cena won, the battle between his father and Orton would be called off. Cena defeated Marella, who was trying to impress his estranged girlfriend Maria. But the victory came by disqualification, after Orton interfered and left Cena stunned and handcuffed to the ring ropes. A vindictive Coach then informed Cena about the convenient small print in his agreement with The Champ – he had to win the match by pinfall or submission. It appears there may have been some collusion between Orton and Coach. It seemed that Cena never had a real chance of keeping his dad out of the match. The Legend Killer’s sadism reached new heights as he tortured Mr. Cena and made his son watch. The Champ’s face trembled in red rage as Orton punished his father. He frantically tugged and scratched at the ring ropes and handcuffs. Cody Rhodes tried to help The Champ, but was thwarted by Orton. His eyes seething with a cold fury, the Legend Killer flattened Mr. Cena with a vicious RKO. Orton was determined to exact revenge on Mr. Cena, and make The Champ feel like his dad’s blood was on his hands. But the WWE Champion somehow managed to free himself by tearing off the bottom turnbuckle to try and save his father from a further beating. Johnny Fabulous had to be helped from the ring. We will hopefully having an update on the condition of the Apex Corp. leader later this week.
